At Glacier, we believe in creating infinite opportunities not only for investment growth, but for making meaningful change in the communities we live and work in. That’s why we’ve launched Glacier Giving, a new initiative from the Glacier Business Development team, aimed at helping those who need it most.
Our first activation, "Let the sanitary prevail," is now underway. We’re collecting sanitary towels throughout the year to help girls in under-resourced communities stay in school — every day of every month.
The first handovers of donations received from staff has already taken pace to learners at Talfalah Primary School in Manenberg and The Range High School in Elsies River, both situated in disadvantaged areas where access to basic essentials remains a daily challenge. These are vibrant communities filled with potential, but burdened by systemic inequality, poverty, and under-resourced schools. Our contribution ensures that young girls don’t miss out on education due to something as basic, yet vital, as sanitary care.
This is just the beginning. Two more activations are planned for 2025, and the Glacier Giving Squad will keep you updated on how you can get involved.
