As part of our commitment to continually enhance our functionality, some new and improved features were introduced to the client mobile app, effective 25 February.
Client mobile app
We’ve added functionality that displays a client’s beneficiary and nominee information on all qualifying investments. This includes displaying living annuity investments with primary and secondary beneficiaries. Beneficiary nomination is an important consideration in the investment planning journey and is also available on the quarterly statements too.
This functionality will be enhanced in future to allow for changes and the loading of new beneficiary information. When new beneficiaries are added, a letter will be generated and also made available for viewing on the web.
Application forms – change in the voting process
Another change to note is that going forward, the trustees of our retirement annuity and preservation funds will no longer vote on behalf of clients when the management companies send out ballot letters. This option has therefore been removed from the application form and the investment confirmation. A communication in this regard is also being sent to intermediaries and clients.
