We are excited to announce a new Wealth Edge Special that gives clients even more value when reinvesting!
Clients who reinvest proceeds from qualifying maturing or open-ended plans into the Sanlam Wealth Edge Endowment Plan will now enjoy an extra 1% allocation at inception - on top of the existing 4% boost - giving their investment an even more powerful headstart from day one.
The special will be available from 09 March 2026 until 30 June 2026.
Qualifying investments
Investments sourced from the following matured/open-ended plans will qualify for the additional boost:
- Cumulus Fixed Return (SG3,SG3P).
- Cumulus Investments (E40)
- Cumulus Continuation (SC8).
- Nimbus Investments (E45)
- Nimbus Continuation (SC10).
- Wealth Edge Endowment Plan (E46)
- Glacier Sustainable World Enhancer (GSWE)
- A combination of the listed products and other/own money
Requirements
A minimum investment of R100 000.
Proof of source of funds + Sanport Addendum
Added to the existing Wealth Bonus structure on the Wealth Edge Endowment Plan, this is an exceptional offer!
- The current Wealth Bonus structure on the Wealth Edge Endowment Plan already ensures that a 4% Wealth Bonus gets added upfront.
- In addition, any amount invested in the Glacier Solution Funds – actively managed portfolios tailored to specific risk profiles – qualifies for an additional Wealth Bonus of 1% at inception.
- Our latest special means that clients can receive up to 6% added to their investment amount (after the deduction of the initial intermediary advice fee plus VAT).
Important to note
- The Wealth Bonus additional 1% special offer applies to new business only and will not be applicable to switches, ad hoc premiums, or loan repayments.
- Switching out of Solution Funds will reduce the additional 1% allocation proportionately

There is a tool available on Sanport (The Sanlam Wealth Edge Endowment Wealth Edge Special Addendum) which illustrates the applicable Wealth Bonuses, and generates an addendum that must be submitted along with the quotation, application form and proof of the source of funds. (Please note that there may be a delay in issuing the investment if no proof of the source of funds is included.) The Wealth Edge Endowment illustrator tool has been updated to accommodate the special offer.
