The myths, facts, processes, costs and taxes. The Glacier Two-Pot Retirement System Webinar 2024 covered a plethora of topics and themes on the new retirement reform. With so much misinformation doing the rounds and clients' expectations misaligned with reality, the focus on the webinar was to bring intermediaries up to speed with the facts. The webinar kicked off with presenter, Annalise De Meillon-Muller, Head of Technical Support, debunking the myths and laying out the facts.

The first panel discussion, facilitator Business Development Manager, Siba Mgijima, and panellists Operations Managers, Hester Mostert, and Adele can der Schyff, explored four personas at different stages of life, and how they are likely to approach Two-Pot. They panel also unpacked some of the practicalities of accessing the savings withdrawal benefit and what to do if you don't want to access your retirement savings.

The second panel discussion, facilitated by Annalise De Meillon-Muller, and with panellists Elton James, Head of Corporate, Sherwin Govender, Business Development Manager, Natashja Terblanche Executive Head of Client Services, Zaheer Bhikha, Executive Head of Product Development and Hildegard Wilson, Head of Investment Solutions, examined how Two-Pot is the biggest change in the retirement industry in decades and will likely transform retirement income planning going forward.
