This is a friendly reminder that the single premium Cumulus Endowment will be closed from 3 July 2023.
Glacier’s current endowment offering (for Life Investments) spans three solutions:
- Sanlam Cumulus Investments
- Sanlam Nimbus Investments, and the
- Sanlam Wealth Edge Endowment Plan
In order to simplify decision-making for you and your clients, we are streamlining our solution set by closing the Cumulus Investments (E40) for new business and enhancing our flagship Wealth Edge Endowment offering.
From 3 July 2023 (midnight on Sunday, 2 July), Sanquote desktop will be closed for new Cumulus Investment (E40) quotations. The enhanced features on the Wealth Edge Endowment Plan - which will include attractive incentives for long-term investment - will be available from 28 August 2023.
Cumulus pipeline business
All application forms submitted, and quotations and instructions for transfers requested up until 3 July, for which the funds reflect in our bank account by 21 July, will still be issued. If needed, amendments to existing quotations can be requested via glcproductsupport@glacier.co.za. Please note that the request must be accompanied by the original quote that was drawn before 3 July.
The Wealth Edge Endowment Plan: an attractive alternative
The closure of Cumulus will not leave a void, as the Wealth Edge Endowment Plan is an excellent alternative. The most popular funds on Cumulus Investments are also available on the Wealth Edge Endowment Plan. The plan also offers a range of actively managed, risk-profiled Solution Funds providing many benefits. The carefully selected range of investment funds available on the Wealth Edge Endowment Plan is guided by the Glacier Shopping List, thereby simplifying investment choice. The Plan also provides a unique unit price guarantee on selected investment funds, giving investors the opportunity to take advantage of rising markets, while limiting capital losses during market downturns.
Enhancements to the Wealth Edge Endowment Plan
