The outcome for the Glacier Capital Enhancer was positive again for the seventh issue, which ended at +27% on 1 August 2023. This issue, which was exposed to the EuroStoxx 50, provided investors with a pre-tax enhanced return of 92.5%.
Confirmation about the outcome for the Glacier Capital Enhancer will be sent to invested clients on 29 August 2023, and they will be encouraged to speak to their financial intermediaries about further investment options for the maturity amount.
Investors can remain invested in the Glacier Vantage Plan (sinking fund policy) or they can invest the proceeds, or a portion of the proceeds, in another suitable solution. The Glacier Capital Enhancer is a five-year investment option that provides capital protection as well as an enhanced return with uncapped upside linked to a global portfolio. The GCE investment option is set up in the Glacier Vantage Plan, a sinking fund policy underwritten by Sanlam Life Insurance Ltd and administered by Glacier Financial Solutions (Pty) Ltd.
