Khanyi Nzukuma, chief executive of Glacier by Sanlam, was proud to announce recently that Hildegard Wilson will join Glacier Exco as its newest member and the MD: Glacier International.
Hildegard is no stranger to the Glacier business having been appointed in 2023 as the head of Investment Solutions within the broader Business Development team, in a role that includes Glacier Invest, Glacier Manco, Glacier Research and Glacier Consulting.
Hildegard has 19 years financial services industry experience, which includes time as a product actuary in investments at Momentum and as an asset consultant with NMG (previously Jacques Malan Consultants and Actuaries).
To ensure a smooth transition and limited disruption to the portfolio that she is stepping out of, Hildegard will continue to be involved in operations of Investment Solutions.
Hildegard will continue to lead the Investment Solutions team and provide insights and guidance to intermediaries until a new leader is appointed.
Hildegard is a qualified actuary and studied at the University of Pretoria with the following qualifications:
- Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa, 2014
- Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Mathematics (Honours), 2006
- Bachelor of Science degree in Financial and Actuarial Mathematics, 2004
She is currently the chair of the Investment Committee of the Actuarial Society of South Africa.
